Govan Law Centre was set up to tackle disadvantage, poverty and meet unmet legal needs. Firmly embedded in the community, GLC provides free, independent and confidential legal services in:

Parliamentary and Social Policy Unit;
Public Interest Litigation Unit;
Education Law Unit;
Govanhill Law Centre;
Ayrshire Homelessness & Prevention Unit;
Women’s project;
Children 1st project;
Financial Inclusion Services to North East & South areas of Glasgow and
Prevention of Homelessness services

GLC campaigns for policy change and law reform to improve the lives of vulnerable people and uses legal cases and appeal courts to challenge the rules to benefit poorer people and families in Scotland.
